The programme is divided into units of study called modules which are assigned a number of ‘credits’. The credit rating of a module is proportional to the total workload, with 1 credit being nominally equivalent to 10 hours of work. The University of Exeter and The University of Queensland have partnered to establish the QUEX Institute, a new multi-million pound partnership designed to bolster their joint global research impact. As a BCU student, you will also have access to the Curzon library, with extensive opening times to facilitate flexible studying around your life. The building has a range of facilities available including studios, workshops, specialist art and design library, bookable spaces and lecture/seminar rooms. It will also allow you to become more involved in University life by delivering, leading and supporting many aspects of the learning experience, from administration to research and mentoring roles.

They advocate, train and run programmes designed to increase individual giving for the arts. They offer incentives to new and returning business sponsors in order to grow the range of businesses engaging with the arts on a regular basis. The judges felt this was a true partnership, with both organisations working together to deliver an exciting and iconic project. The scale and impact of the project generated real, tangible changes for both parties extending their brand reputation in the regional, national and international markets. Deutsche Bank, Hornby PLC, Samsung, and Sennheiser were among the top business names to be awarded for their collaborations with the arts at the 35th Arts & Business Awards held last night at the British Film Institute.

Dr. Shwetal A. Patel is a writer and researcher working at the intersection of contemporary art and a founding member of India’s first visual arts biennial, the Kochi-Muziris Biennale. Extensive use of invited curators and museum/gallery professionals as guest speakers to contribute lectures to the taught modules as appropriate. A three term MA programme, structured around four taught modules , including a work placement, in addition to a final dissertation or curatorial project . The Art Business course has been written in consultation with external partners to ensure its value and currency. It has a direct relationship with Ikon gallery and Colmore Business District, ensuring there are live experiences for students in the profit/not-for-profit sectors.

We’ll encourage you to explore and realise your ideas, and you’ll have the opportunity to engage with business and external organisations through student-led group and individual projects. Your possible career paths may include becoming a producer, TV or film commissioner, or event programmer, or working in advertising or marketing and distribution within the creative industries.
