MP Grille
It is our pleasure to introduce you to Chris Kelly, the new owner and operator of MP Grille in the heart of the Marcus Pointe Golf Community. Chris is very excited to bring his brand of New South Cuisine to our community and to the greater Pensacola area. Chris describes his style of New Southern Cuisine as doing simple things but doing them extremely well. For example, almost everything in Chef Kelly’s kitchen is made from scratch. This approach means that something as simple as a Rueben Sandwich is transformed into a labor of love with fresh ingredients that include homemade bread, pastrami, pickles, and a signature southern slaw. Chef Kelly defiantly does not take the path of least resistance, making most of his cuisine in house is a time consuming process but the final products are of uncompromising quality and flavor. “Southern cuisine is about more than just great food, it’s about love for your family, neighbors, and community. So I make it my mission for you to taste this love in every bite of my food.”
Chris comes to the M.P. Grille with 20 years of experience that includes a decade at the Great Southern Restaurant Group which includes the Fish House and Atlas. In his accomplished career, Chef Kelly has worn many hats including, restaurant manager, consultant, executive chef, and even contractor. His most recent project was the complete renovation of the MP Grille. Chris did all of the work including design, carpentry, painting, and restoration of the bar himself.
Chef Kelly is very eager to show off his work and share his cuisine. The MP Grille serves food from 10am to 3pm and is open for cocktails until 6pm, seven days a week. Let Chef Chris Kelly help you end your week on a delicious note! Come join us for dinner on Friday nights from 5-9 PM when Chris creates made from scratch, Southern cuisine.
