Announcement from Marcus Pointe

We would like to announce Ed Schroeder as General Manager of Marcus Pointe Golf Club.   Schroeder joins the Marcus Pointe management staff with 23 years of tourism experience under his belt, with his most recent position being the Director of Visit Pensacola, the destination marketing division for the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. With Ed's leadership and direction, Visit Pensacola's marketing programs have been recognized by Visit Florida as the best in the state. Additionally, the Southeast Tourism Society recognized Visit Pensacola as the CVB of the Year in 2008.

After receiving his BBA from Columbus State University, Ed was commissioned in the Armor branch of the US Army, earning the rank of Captain.

Schroeder lives in Pensacola with his wife, Donna and their three children, Holly, Kyle and James.
